About the Author
Sara Vetter is the Clinical Operations Lead on the Provider Business Operations team at CoverMyMeds and brings a clinical voice to the products and solutions the company offers. Sara works with product development teams to design effective medication access solutions. She also engages with CoverMyMeds users to train and support them to effectively use CoverMyMeds tools.
Having spent 14 years caring for oncology patients as a bedside nurse and leading the Clinical Trials Unit at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, Sara understands how crucial and complex it is to help patients access the medications they need to live healthy lives. Her experience also offers insight into the different roles of the healthcare team, and the need for intuitive and efficient medication access solutions that allow providers to maximize their time with patients. Additionally, Sara has also worked with the life science industry to help bridge the gap between bench and the bedside and to bring novel therapies to patients.
Sara has both an undergraduate nursing degree and master’s degree in Nursing and Health Systems Management from The Ohio State University.
